Friday afternoon was finally time to celebrate with Derek! After finals, he was ready for a fun weekend and a two week break from school!
He was happy to see his present...
"Scrubs: Season 3". He now has the entire season on DVD. If you haven't watched it, it's hilarious and totally shows how doctors are just regular and funny people.
Saturday we enjoyed a late lunch at a local BBQ place featured on Food Networks "Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives".
After eating some great food, we headed over to Chase Field to watch the Diamondbacks!
We scored great seats at a great price!
Derek is off to Mexico for a 6 day vacation with his family! This is the first time we've been apart where we won't be able to talk on the phone! Darn international roaming fees! I have a busy week of work, 6th grade activities & promotion (yes, they used their sweet little faces to get me to chaperone), and preparing for Memorial Day & San Diego!
